A Message from the Conference Planners
Our new year is upon us; 2012! As your calendar begins to fill up (if it hasn't already) with
appointments, meetings and events, we would like you to add the annual conference for the School
Transportation Association of Indiana (STAI) to be held June 20-22, 2012 in French Lick, Indiana.
You won't want to miss it! Joyce West (conference chair) and Lynn Hower (conference co-chair) have
listened to your suggestions to move the conference to a later time in the year to better serve our
entire transportation family throughout the state of Indiana. We've also listened to your desire to offer
a broader range of workshops for those on your staff; i.e. secretaries, routing staff, supervisors, bus
drivers, among others. We've come up with many workshops covering a broad range of topics! See the

We will also have a terrific trade show on Thursday filled with outstanding vendors. Some you will be familiar with, but others will be new to you. Our vendors tell us we provide one of the best trade shows for a state conference so you won't want to miss it! Additionally, there will be a newsworthy event taking place at our trade show. Hear and see this first hand!
But "all work and no play" makes a conference no fun! As usual, our vendors will be sponsoring some great entertainment giving you the much needed opportunity to relax, enjoy, laugh and take a break from the stressors of your typical transportation day!
